Lithofin MN Stain-Stop penetrates into the surface and coats the capillaries with an extremely thin, invisible film. Oil, grease and water are not absorbed by the surface, but remain on the surface (12 to 36 hours on polished marble and limestone, up to 48 hours on granite and gneiss). During this time, oil can easily be removed without leaving stains. The effectiveness depends on the amount of product absorbed by the surface. The appearance of the natural stone is not affected. Some stones may become slightly darker in colour. The water absorbency of the stone is greatly reduced; the water permeability is only slightly affected. The product is UV-resistant and does not yellow.

Field of Use:
For invisible protection against staining and for facilitating maintenance of all natural stone surfaces, including polished marble. Perfect for use on wall and floor surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as on table tops, window sills and other sensitive surfaces.
Please Note: marble and limestone will remain sensitive to acid.
Directions for Use:
Without prior experience or in cases of doubt, try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. The surface to be treated must be completely dry and clean. Areas should be treated in sections of approx. 10 to 15m². Evenly apply a consistent amount of Lithofin MN Stain-Stop with a brush, a roller or a cloth. On highly absorbent surfaces, this procedure may have to be repeated after five minutes. Do not allow the surface residues to dry. Residues must be completely removed within 15 min. with a dry cloth. On large surfaces, remove the residues with a squeegee and polish with a white pad. Attention! the liquid product must sink into the stone. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Wipe excess product within 15 min. Dry residues must be removed within 24 hours.
Please Note: None absorbent surfaces can not be impregnated. Glass, ceramics, wood, and other surfaces sensitive to solvents must be protected against splashes.
The temperature of the surface should be between 10°C and 25°C. Switch off under floor heating.
After 30-40 min. surface will be dry and ready to be stepped on. Complete drying process and effectiveness of the impregnation will take approx. 5 days. During this time, do not cover the surface and remove wet spots.
Depends on the absorbency of the stone. Estimates: polished surfaces: 12 to 25m²/litre, very dense stones: up to 40m²/litre, rough/honed granite: approx. 5-7m²/litre, porous sandstone: approx. 3-6 m²/litre
Outdoor areas: up to 5 years. Indoors, the durability depends on the care products used. Strong de-greasing or layer forming products are unsuitable to use. Heavily used surfaces such as kitchen counters should be retreated once a year.
There are two types of products that you can order from Period Property Store, which will affect delivery:

All delivery times and dates are estimates. We will try our best to meet the delivery estimates we have given you but shall not be responsible for any failure to deliver ordered products within these stated time frames. We will let you know if we cannot deliver your products within 30 days of when we receive payment from you, and give you the opportunity to either wait for the products or cancel your order.
Our next day delivery service applies to working weekdays only and does not include weekends or bank holidays. This service is available up until 14:00 GMT on the day of placing an order. Orders received after 14:00 GMT with be dispatched on the following working weekday.
We are not able to process orders or deliver on UK bank holidays and Sundays.
We strongly recommend that you do not book fitters or tradesmen until your order has actually been delivered and checked by you. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party charges incurred due to non-delivery of an order, or orders that have not been checked on delivery.
All orders will be delivered to a single address. For security reasons your first order using a credit/debit card for the first time when placed online or by phone will need to be delivered to the cardholder's address. Subsequent orders can then be made to an alternative address.
We will always endeavour to make one single delivery to you wherever possible to minimise any inconvenience. This means that when your order contains a mix of products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will apply to the whole order.
All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18. If no-one is available to take the delivery, we will leave details at the address to rearrange delivery. We may need to make an additional handling charge for redelivery. Should no-one be available to take the redelivery we may cancel the order and refund your money, excluding any delivery charges.
Due to insurance guidelines, delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the products is responsible for any additional lifting once the delivery has been made.
For orders requiring palletised delivery the haulage company will attempt to deliver pallets as close as possible to your required position, usually to the closest hard-standing area. The haulage company is under no obligation to remove items from the pallet, nor carry items into your property. You should warn the Company if there is restricted access, soft or gravelled driveways.

Returns and Refunds:
You may return an item for any reason within 14 days from the date of delivery and we promise to give you a refund, excluding any original delivery costs incurred. We shall not be liable for the return cost of any non faulty product. Any faulty/damaged item may be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery.
Certain products will be subject to a restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund given. Please request further details regarding this prior to arranging the return of an item.
In the unlikely event that an item has been damaged during delivery, we will exchange the item or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 5 days of the product being delivered to you, and return of the item must be with 14 days of delivery. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.
Certain products offered on the website have specific, stated delivery times which supersede the standard delivery proposal (please see individual product details on the website).
Please note that made-to-measure items may not be returned unless they are faulty. This includes, but is not limited to, sectional radiators.
All refunds will be made within 30 days of notification to the account originally used to purchase the product.
