This ready-to-use special impregnator is water based and nearly odourless. Highly active water and oil repellent polymers ensure that this easy to apply treatment offers optimal results. Lithofin MN Stain-Stop >ECO< provides the ultimate protection against water and oil stains and facilitates every-day maintenance.
Lithofin MN Stain-Stop >ECO< penetrates into absorbent natural stone surfaces and coats the capillaries with an extremely thin and invisible film of polymers. This film alters the surface tension of the surface, causing a repelling effect. The treatment prevents the immediate penetration of water based dirt as well as oil and grease, and it provides an effective protection against staining.

Field of Use:
To protect absorbent natural stone against staining and to render surfaces water and oil repellent. Treatment is recommended for all stone surfaces, such as: floors in kitchen, dining and living areas. The surfaces can be polished, honed, or rough. Lithofin MN Stain-Stop >ECO< can be used as initial protection before grouting and as a pre-treatment. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Surfaces: absorbent natural stones, especially suitable for rough and honed limestone, polished and honed hardstone.
Please Note: on siliceous stones with a rough surface (such as honed or flamed granite), dense limestone and in cases where the highest level of water repellency is required (eg. in the shower) we recommend using Lithofin MN Stain-Stop (solvent based). This also applies to surfaces that have been pre-treated with impregnators or resins.
Directions for Use:
Check the suitability and effect with a test in an inconspicuous area or on a spare tile. The surface must be absorbent, completely dry, clean and free of stains. Shake bottle before use. Apply generously and evenly using a lambswool applicator, roller, lint free cloth or sponge. Ensure even distribution by wiping over several times. Ensure that all surface residues are removed after 15 min. by towelling them off, do not allow residues to dry on the surface. On highly absorbent surfaces, apply several two to three times. Do not wait for surface to dry in between applications.
The temperature of the surface should be between 10°C and 25°C. Switch off under floor heating.
Approx. 3 hours. Treatment is fully effective after 48 hours. Do not cover surface before then and wipe up any spills immediately.
Please Note: some materials may appear slightly darker after treatment. If no prior product experience exists or in cases of doubt, we recommend a trial application. Immediately remove splashes on wood, glass, PVC, lacquered surfaces, etc. with a damp cloth. Clean application tools with water after use.
Honed limestone: 4-8m² per litre, polished natural stone: up to 20m².
Approx. four years depending on the type and use of the treated material and the maintenance system.
In case a deep clean is required, use Lithofin MN Power-Clean diluted 1:20 and a white pad. Rinse well with plenty of water, since residues of cleaners may affect the effectiveness of the protective treatment. Impregnators do not protect the surface against acid.
Touching up the Protective Effect:
Surfaces subject to increased wear (such as surfaces in kitchen and bathroom) should be touched up at least once per year. This re-treatment can be done with Lithofin MN Stain-Stop >ECO< or with the solvent based Lithofin MN Stain-Stop. First give the surface a deep clean and allow it to dry thoroughly. Then simply wet a clean cloth with the impregnator and rub it into the surface.
There are two types of products that you can order from Period Property Store, which will affect delivery:

All delivery times and dates are estimates. We will try our best to meet the delivery estimates we have given you but shall not be responsible for any failure to deliver ordered products within these stated time frames. We will let you know if we cannot deliver your products within 30 days of when we receive payment from you, and give you the opportunity to either wait for the products or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel your order we will give you a full refund.
Our next day delivery service applies to working weekdays only and does not include weekends or bank holidays. This service is available up until 14:00 GMT on the day of placing an order. Orders received after 14:00 GMT with be dispatched on the following working weekday.
We are not able to process orders or deliver on UK bank holidays and Sundays.
We strongly recommend that you do not book fitters or tradesmen until your order has actually been delivered and checked by you. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party charges incurred due to non-delivery of an order, or orders that have not been checked on delivery.
All orders will be delivered to a single address. For security reasons your first order using a credit/debit card for the first time when placed online or by phone will need to be delivered to the cardholder's address. Subsequent orders can then be made to an alternative address.
We will always endeavour to make one single delivery to you wherever possible to minimise any inconvenience. This means that when your order contains a mix of products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will apply to the whole order.
All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18. If no-one is available to take the delivery, we will leave details at the address to rearrange delivery. We may need to make an additional handling charge for redelivery. Should no-one be available to take the redelivery we may cancel the order and refund your money, excluding any delivery charges.
Due to insurance guidelines, delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the products is responsible for any additional lifting once the delivery has been made.
For orders requiring palletised delivery the haulage company will attempt to deliver pallets as close as possible to your required position, usually to the closest hard-standing area. The haulage company is under no obligation to remove items from the pallet, nor carry items into your property. You should warn the Company if there is restricted access, soft or gravelled driveways.

Returns and Refunds:
You may return an item for any reason within 14 days from the date of delivery and we promise to give you a refund, excluding any original delivery costs incurred. We shall not be liable for the return cost of any non faulty product. Any faulty/damaged item may be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery.
Certain products will be subject to a restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund given. Please request further details regarding this prior to arranging the return of an item.
In the unlikely event that an item has been damaged during delivery, we will exchange the item or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 5 days of the product being delivered to you, and return of the item must be with 14 days of delivery. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.
Certain products offered on the website have specific, stated delivery times which supersede the standard delivery proposal (please see individual product details on the website).
Please note that made-to-measure items may not be returned unless they are faulty. This includes, but is not limited to, sectional radiators.
All refunds will be made within 30 days of notification to the account originally used to purchase the product.
