Satin-matt, top coat for stained wooded decking. Contains special compressed organic particles which are evenly dispersed within the finish, and provides an anti-slip surface when dry. Based on natural oils and water resistant. The finish contains active ingredients which protect the surface against mould, algae and fungal attack.Does not crack, flake, peel or blister. No sanding required. Microporous, breathable finish allowing the wood to breath and reduces the risk of swelling and shrinkage. Easy to apply, will not dry during application.

Recommended use:
For all exterior wooden decking boards and staircases e.g. Bangkirai, Massaranduba, Garapa, Larch, Douglas Fir or Pine. Can be used for ribbed, grooved and especially smooth surfaces.

Ingredients:
Based on natural vegetable oils (sunflower-oil, soyabean-oil, thistle-oil, linseed-oil), siccatives (drying agents) and additives. Disaromatised white spirit (benzene-free). This product fulfils EU-Regulation (2004/42/EC) according to the VOC limit value max. 500 g/l (Cat. A/i (2010). Detailed declaration of ingredients available upon request.

Preparation:
Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%). Osmo Anti-Slip Decking Oil is ready to use, please do no thin, stir well before use. Old microporous finishes must be cleaned thoroughly before application. Lacquers must be removed by sanding. If possible, please apply the first coat to all sides before installation. To achieve maximal durability of the finish it is necessary to weather the wood for a time before application, approx. 2 – 4 weeks for soft woods, tropical wood species must weather for approx. 3 months.
We recommend a first coat with either the Osmo Wood Oils e.g. Bangkirai-, Larch- or Douglas Fir-Oil or Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain. The Osmo Anti-Slip Decking Oil top coat protects against the first coat against weathering and increases the durability of the finish. If additional protection against blue stain and rot is desired, pre-treat, if possible all sides, with
Osmo WR Base Coat.

Application:
Apply along the grain using a sturdy brush and spread well. For quick and easy application we recommend the use
of the Osmo 150 mm Floor Brush, especially designed for finishing wooden decking. Allow for good ventilation whilst drying. A coloured base coat with an Osmo Wood Oil combined with a top coat of Osmo Anti-Slip Decking Oil provides perfect all round protection for the wood.

Coverage:
1ltr = approx 24 m² with one coat

Drying time:
Approx. 12 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23°C /50%, rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or high humidity can increase the drying time.

Note:
Osmo Anti-Slip Decking Oil is a clear protective finish with little UV protection (greying effect). Is not recommended as a stand alone finish for decks. On weathered surfaces or where water stands, a shorter renovation interval is to be expected. Natural oils accentuate the natural colour tone and grain of wood (permanent wet look). To prevent the anti-slip effect being reduced on frequently used walkways (these areas will also grey more swiftly) we recommend partially renovating the area after signs of wear are noticeable (simply brush apply one further coat of Anti-Slip Decking Oil). An already weathered and grey deck surface should be cleaned with Osmo Wood Reviver before finishing.
Some wood species „bleed“ natural water soluble ingredients during weathering.

There are two types of products that you can order from Period Property Store, which will affect delivery:

   1. 'Standard' products are products that do not fall into our 'Big & Bulky' category.
   2. 'Big & Bulky' products require palletised or specialist courier delivery.

Our 'Standard Parcel Delivery' & 'Next Day Parcel Delivery' options are not available for products marked 'Big & Bulky'

All orders are subject to product availability. We aim to process all orders within five working days.

Depending on your delivery postcode and which products you order, delivery charges may apply.

All delivery times and dates are estimates. We will try our best to meet the delivery estimates we have given you but shall not be responsible for any failure to deliver ordered products within these stated time frames. We will let you know if we cannot deliver your products within 30 days of when we receive payment from you, and give you the opportunity to either wait for the products or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel your order we will give you a full refund.

Our next day delivery service applies to working weekdays only and does not include weekends or bank holidays. This service is available up until 14:00 GMT on the day of placing an order. Orders received after 14:00 GMT with be dispatched on the following working weekday.

We are not able to process orders or deliver on UK bank holidays and Sundays.

We strongly recommend that you do not book fitters or tradesmen until your order has actually been delivered and checked by you. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party charges incurred due to non-delivery of an order, or orders that have not been checked on delivery.

All orders will be delivered to a single address. For security reasons your first order using a credit/debit card for the first time when placed online or by phone will need to be delivered to the cardholder's address. Subsequent orders can then be made to an alternative address.

We will always endeavour to make one single delivery to you wherever possible to minimise any inconvenience. This means that when your order contains a mix of products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will apply to the whole order.

All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18. If no-one is available to take the delivery, we will leave details at the address to rearrange delivery. We may need to make an additional handling charge for redelivery. Should no-one be available to take the redelivery we may cancel the order and refund your money, excluding any delivery charges.

Due to insurance guidelines, delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the products is responsible for any additional lifting once the delivery has been made.

For orders requiring palletised delivery the haulage company will attempt to deliver pallets as close as possible to your required position, usually to the closest hard-standing area. The haulage company is under no obligation to remove items from the pallet, nor carry items into your property. You should warn the Company if there is restricted access, soft or gravelled driveways.

Returns and Refunds:

You may return an item for any reason within 14 days from the date of delivery and we promise to give you a refund, excluding any original delivery costs incurred. We shall not be liable for the return cost of any non faulty product. Any faulty/damaged item may be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery.

Certain products will be subject to a restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund given. Please request further details prior to arranging the return of an item.

In the unlikely event that an item has been damaged during delivery, we will exchange the item or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 5 days of the product being delivered to you, and return of the item must be with 14 days of delivery. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.

Certain products offered on the website have specific, stated delivery times which supersede the standard delivery proposal (please see individual product details on the website).

Please note that made-to-measure items may not be returned unless they are faulty. This includes, but is not limited to, sectional radiators.
